A couple of months after graduating from high school, Mikey Carnevale (vocals/guitar) and Richard Dotson (bass) got together as The Frights to play a one off 30 minute set as sort of a joke. The feeling they got from the crowd in their hometown of San Diego inspired them to become a “real” band almost in spite of themselves. Along the way, they recruited Marc Finn (drums) and released You Are Going To Hate This (produced by Zac Carper of FIDLAR) in February 2016. Jordan Clark (guitar) added to the band’s musical prowess in the ensuing year of touring around North America. The Frights signed to Epitaph in early 2018 and got to work on Hypochondriac. Like You Are Going To Hate This, the band’s third full-length was produced by Zac Carper of FIDLAR (who’s also produced albums for SWMRS and Dune Rats). But for Hypochondriac, Carnevale took a more deliberate and exacting approach to his songwriting, resulting in The Frights’ most nuanced work to date. After a sold out show at The Observatory North Park in their hometown of San Diego the same date as the release of the album, the band embarked on the Hypochondriac headline tour that is documented on their upcoming live album.

Liily has spent the past few years garnering a dedicated cult following due to some of the most manic and exciting shows on the west coast. The band, consisting of Dylan Nash (vocals), Charlie Anastasis (Bass), Sam De La Torre (Guitar), and Maxx Morando (Drums), are responsible for some of the most rousing music coming from LA right now. The band hailing from the city’s vast DIY music scene is looking to sustain that sense of agency over all of which they create, their community and sound is grounded in the punk of the San Fernando valley as well as the post punk/alternative scene happening from LA to New York. This was the catalyst to record the entire new Self Titled EP in Maxx’s airstream trailer in the valley, alongside producers and friends Austin Corona, Wyatt Brenard, and Carlos De La Garza. Since the bands inception they have put out an EP I Can Fool Anybody In This Town and their full length LP Tv or Not Tv both under indie label Flush Records. These releases, though vastly different in sound, have helped shaped the path for their Self Titled EP to exist. It’s by far the most well rounded project they’ve ever made and want it to speak for itself.

(San Diego, CA) Products of Park Village Elementary School, guitarist Andrew Harris, singer/drummer Daniel Cole, and bassist Dennis Moon grew up side by side, witnessing all of each other’s awkward years. They harnessed that unbreakable bond into a sick cover of “Gravity” by John Mayer that every parent at their middle school graduation fucked with hard. A bunch of years later, and Kenzo Mann joins the fold, bringing hot synths and hot guitar. They stop playing “Gravity” and write their own songs. Their old fanbase of parents say they’ve changed. It’s okay. The kids love the new songs about whatever Daniel’s deal is. Every song they record soon becomes a #1 single. They exclusively tour the planet Earth, citing the crowds on Mars being “wack”. Although now drowned in money and fame, the four haven’t forgotten their roots — they humbly sleep in the same bed like the grandparents from Charlie & The Chocolate Factory.
