ButchQueen is a drag pageant & artist residency unlike any other. Now in its 8th season, ButchQueen returns to THE historic Castro Theatre after an almost three year hiatus, The ButchQueen Pageant returns with 9 amazing contenders vying for the crown! 

Beef Cakes, Bretchen Towers, Glamputee, Hennessy Williams, La Chucha, Paige Turner, Rica Shay, Venus Superstar Bizarre and Vicky Cristina Barcelona. 

Part of proceeds go towards funding the 2024 cycle for The Grace Towers Scholarship for the Arts and LGBTQIA youth mentorship and programming in collaboration with non profit Queens of the Castro as well as the scholarship fund for Into the Woods, a campout providing opportunities for QUEERS to be one with nature.
