PawPaw Rod is a Hawaii-born, Oklahoma-raised rapper and singer known for seamlessly merging hip-hop, 60s soul, funk, and alternative into a genre-fluid sound all his own. Since his breakout single “HIT EM WHERE IT HURTS” in 2020, Rod has released four EPs, amassing over 200M streams and critical acclaim from outlets including Complex, FADER, GQ, and Rolling Stone. His music has been featured in Netflix’s Outer Banks, Apple TV+’s Platonic, and campaigns for Apple, Nike, and GAP. Festival highlights include Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits. Rod is currently in the studio working on his debut album.
