King Isis is creating the soundtrack to a limitless movement. Born and raised in the cultural hub of Oakland, CA, King Isis brings life back to music with their raw, honest, and gritty sounds. Taught on their great-grandmother Omega King’s piano, one of the first Black opera singers in Chicago, Isis found a safe haven creating worlds through sound, traversing through rock and RnB to folk in their songs. Isis has been featured in publications such as Pigeons and Planes, Afropunk, Lyrical Lemonade, and Teen Vogue for their initial singles and is currently putting finishing touches on their debut EP, set to be released this fall.
