Glass Animal’s latest album How To Be A Human Being (Harvest Records) debuted in the Top 20 of the Billboard 200 and topped the iTunes Alternative Albums chart in the U.S. and Australia. Named as one of the “10 Best Albums of 2016” by USA Today, it has racked up more than 60 million Spotify streams in the U.S. The Associated Press hailed it as “a complex, exciting tapestry of a CD which switches musical styles and reveals new things each time it’s played.”
Even a broken ankle couldn’t keep lead singer Dave Bayley from crowd surfing during the band’s Coachella set, cited as a festival highlight by Billboard, which praised Glass Animals’ “dynamic rendition” of “Gooey.” Reviewing the band’s recent sold-out show at London’s Brixton Academy, The Telegraph said, “To watch Glass Animals is to get sucked into a musical maelstrom: they pull you in, fill your head with opalescent oddities, then spit you out, woozy.” Watch Glass Animals perform “Life Itself,” the lead single from How To Be A Human Being, on “Later…with Jools Holland” HERE.
Glass Animals’ new single, “Pork Soda,” recently impacted Alternative radio in the U.S., and has already amassed more than eight million streams on Spotify worldwide. View the official video HERE.
