Formed in San Francisco in 2002, Two Gallants built a devoted following with their raw, emotionally charged blend of folk, blues, and rock. The duo of Adam Stephens and Tyson Vogel released their debut album, The Throes, in 2004, followed by What the Toll Tells (2006) and Two Gallants (2007). After taking a break in 2008, the band reunited in 2012 with The Bloom and the Blight, followed by We Are Undone in 2015, before stepping away from the stage once again.

After more than a decade, Two Gallants announced a return this December for a special performance at Bottom of the Hill, a venue that played an important role in the band’s early years. The show will be one of the venue’s final concerts before new ownership takes over in 2027.

In response to the enthusiasm around the December announcement and out of love and appreciation for the friends and fans who were unable to get tickets, the band decided to play some additional shows at another one of their favorite hometown venues, a room that has held more Two Gallants shows than any other, The Independent.
