Quadry

Baton Rouge native, Quadry, has been a champion of the underground since his 2018 classic, Malik Ruff, which featured collaboration from the likes of Steve Lacy, Dylan Brady, and DJ Dahi to name a few. His run of form has since continued with the release of his critically acclaimed 2021 project, They Think We Ghetto, which gave us cameos from artists like Black Party, GRIP, Ovrkast, Frank Leone, and more.

Inspired by far-out sounds ranging from Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly and the genre-defying tastes of Atlanta’s the Dungeon Family to Boosie Badazz and New Orleans neighbor Lil Wayne, Quadry designs music using an unlikely palette. The music stays true to his Southern roots with blues, folk, and funk influences, while pushing hip-hop boundaries.
