No Lovely Thing is a seven piece band from Oakland, CA. Led by singer Melissa Jones’ percussive melodies and captivating voice, the band weaves elements of funk, blues, jazz, and reggae into their modern soul sound. They have recently shared stages with Trombone Shorty, The Soul Rebels and Royal Jelly Jive. The band exemplifies unity in their diversity – its members represent all races, genders and sexual orientations. The purpose of their music is to heal, inspire, and bring all people together.
