Founded in 1980, the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival, presented by the Jewish Film Institute, is the largest and longest-running festival of its kind and a treasured cultural touchstone in the Bay Area each year. SFJFF46 showcases bold independent storytelling, remarkable discoveries, and unforgettable encounters—from the Bay Area and around the world—over eighteen days of cinema, conversation, and community. The Festival runs July 16 – August 2 in venues throughout San Francisco and the East Bay, including a much anticipated return to the Castro Theatre on Saturday, July 18.
