Alice Glass is one of the most recognizable and singular voices in the last decade of electronic pop, leaving an unmistakable mark on the genre with her versatile ability to go from an eerie lilt to an absolute roar. As one-half of Crystal Castles, she received critical acclaim internationally including NME’s John Peel Award For Innovation in Music in 2011 as well as receiving a Best New Album designation from Pitchfork. Glass has captivated audiences across the globe with her intense, in-your-face performance style, and she’s also been featured in fashion campaigns by Alexander McQueen among other notable designers. In October of 2014, Glass left Crystal Castles and eventually went public about the abusive treatment that she survived while in the band; following her debut solo single “Stillbirth” in 2015, Glass released a self-titled EP in 2017 and has kept a steady flow of single and remix releases since. She has toured extensively, built herself as a rising dj, and released her debut solo album, PREY//IV in early 2022.
Uffie is the project of the Los Angeles-based artist and fashion icon Anna-Catherine Hartley — formerly signed to Ed Banger Records, where she became acquainted with legendary producers of the early 2000s French electronic music scene. Her career spanned many successes including her first viral hit song called “Pop The Glock,” which was originally posted on MySpace and launched her fame in the Bloghouse era of dance music. She collaborated with the French electronic duo Justice on “TThhEe PPaARRtTYY,” which appeared on their Grammy nominated album Cross in 2007. Her debut album, Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans, was nominated at the French Victoires de la Musique for Best Electronic Album in 2010. She has since collaborated with Pharrell Williams, Charli XCX, Galantis, and Mr. Oizo, to name a few. Uffie returned in 2018 with her debut single “Drugs” from her EP Tokyo Love Hotel. A muse to the art world, she collaborated with Jam Sutton last year on a marble statue and A.I. experience, accompanied by her track “Ego.” She is currently writing for other artists, with credits including Pink, Khalid, Greyson Chance, Blu DeTiger, VINCINT, and Tegan & Sara. Her sophomore full-length, Sunshine Factory, was executive produced by Toro y Moi and released this spring on his label Company Records.
