Ticket Info

Everyone entering the venue must have a ticket and no strollers will be allowed. We discourage any infants or babes in arms.

Parking: The Civic Center Garage has parking adjacent to the venue for a flat event rate fee. The garage entrance is on McAllister Street between Polk Street & Larkin Street.

Box Office Ticket Sales / Will Call Hours: The box office opens two hours prior to show time. The box office is located at the venue on the Grove Street entrance.

Types of Payments Accepted: Cash, American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa are accepted.

Accessible Seating: Bill Graham Civic Auditorium has wheelchair accessible seating on all levels that can accommodate various height needs so that wheelchair users can see the stage. To purchase ADA tickets, click on “Request Accessible Tickets” icon on the Ticketmaster event page and enter the type and number of accessible tickets needed.

  • North on Interstate 101.
    Take the Civic Center exit to 9th Street.
    Travel north on 9th.
    This street turns into Larkin Street as it crosses Market Street.
    Take Larkin one block to Grove Street.

    Take the Civic Center exit to 9th Street.
    Travel north on 9th.

    Exit at the Civic Center Station.
    Once in the station, exit to the U.N. Plaza.

  • Via Caltrain:
    From the Caltrain Station (Fourth & Townsend Streets).
    Across Fourth Street from the station, catch the #42 bus.
    The bus will eventually proceed to and along Van Ness Avenue.

    Turn left on Polk Street and right on Grove Street.

Q: How do I purchase tickets for an event?Tickets for all Bill Graham Civic shows shows are available through www.apeconcerts.com. You can also purchase tickets through Ticketmaster at Ticketmaster.com or by phone at 1-800-745-3000, or in person at any Ticketmaster outlet.

If there are still tickets available to purchase on the day of the event, you may purchase them in person at the box office. Some shows sell very quickly and do not always have tickets available on the day of the show, so we suggest you buy tickets ahead of time. The Greek Theatre box office is open 90 minutes prior to each event.
Q: What is a pre-sale? How do I participate or get a password?
A presale is a way to purchase tickets before tickets go on sale to the general public. Presales are offered for most of our events. You can find presale passwords and onsale times by clicking “More Info” next to the event on the www.apeconcerts.com or you can subscribe to our mailing list to receive these passwords directly via email. Occasionally artists’ fan clubs or radio stations will offer pre-sales of their own that are by invitation only.

All tickets are purchased on a no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations basis and are only usable for the day, date and time selected at the time of purchase.

The Box Office opens 2 hours prior to each show at the Bill Graham Civic Box Office is located in front of the venue at 99 Grove Street. Be sure to bring photo ID, the credit card that was used to purchase the tickets, and your Ticketmaster order number as any or all of these may be required for ticket pick up.

Yes. The coat check is located in the basement level of the venue. It is open every night we have events and costs $3.00 per item.

Q: Can I smoke in the theater?
The Bill Graham Civic Auditorium has an outdoor smoking area, adjacent to Polk Hall on the main floor that patrons may use during a show. Any member of the venue’s staff can direct you to the smoking area. There is no smoking allowed inside the venue.
